Research has shown that during our REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep phase when our eyes go back and forth rapidly, our emotions, memories, and stress are processed effectively and in a natural way—as we “sleep on it”. REM causes an optimal collaboration between both brain hemispheres and thus resolves stored stress and stress-triggers.
And as we all have experienced, a good night’s sleep so often produces a marked improvement in the way we feel about and deal with issues that bothered us the day before.
In Limbic Coaching, we leverage this natural capacity we all possess to help clients process emotions and stress that have kept them from being where they want to be, and to assimilate whatever is bothering them and brought them to coaching in the first place, through different ways of bilateral brain hemisphere stimulation. Find out more about the method.
